Using the coordinates from this page http://tinyurl.com/y72e8o I created a Google Earth bookmark for the Bear Camp Viewpoint Recreation Site, which according to C|Net is where James’ wife and daughters were found.
It doesn’t help to find James, but it does give you some sense of the situation, especially if you enable the terrain.
